Alongside the Passeig de Solsona promenade, there used to be a plot of land with centuries-old chestnut trees. This was the former private garden of a stately home and had fallen into disrepair after the old house was demolished. The recent construction of two public facilities has created the need to develop the land and connect it to the town centre.

The project has recovered the historic garden, respecting the topography and the trees that form part of the collective imagination. The green landscape has been restored, and paving has been laid along the line of the promenade and public facilities buildings, creating a winding path that accompanies pedestrians and gradually fades away as they walk along it. The vegetation, which appears untamed, and the uneven terrain have been preserved and utilised to create a picturesque setting that enhances the pre-existing landscape of the site. The park offers different sensations and views, depending on the season. The metamorphosis of the features results in a place in constant change and regeneration.
